Functional Fitness is training your muscles to work together to perform basic, day-to-day movements and activities. We train for longevity by strengthening muscles in the common movement patterns, and work to prevent injuries.
This dual program is trained together because an athlete can easily transfer the skill set from one to the other. While both are strength focused sports that will increase muscle mass, strength, and power; Powerlifting focuses on three main lifts: back squat, bench press, and deadlift while Strongman tests a competitor's strength in various, non-traditional ways.
The Olympic Weightlifting Program is technique based for two specialized lifts: the clean and jerk, and the snatch. Coach Boyd will break down each lift into parts, and program skill work for each segment. This one day a week program will develop your skill set to successfully perform these elaborate movements.
Tactical Training is offered three days a week for those who are looking to compete in the Tactical Games. Think sandbags, sleds, and farmer's carries mixed with some cardio!
CrossFit Kids is our seasonal program (June and July) that helps build confidence in our kiddos through movement. Keep them active over the summer with us!
Open Gym hours are offered for those athletes who are experienced and have their own programming.
